Volunteers at Metrocrest Services provide hope and relief to those who need a helping hand. We offer a variety of opportunities for you to give back to the community. Whether you volunteer at our agency – in the Client Choice Food Pantry, Metrocrest Resale Store, or Computer Lab, you are helping build a stronger community together!

All new volunteers must complete a volunteer orientation. Additional details will be provided upon submission of your volunteer application.

Ways to volunteer

Food Pantry

Distribute food and hygiene products at our drive-through food pantry.

Resale Store

Process donations and help keep the store stocked.

Seasonal Programs

Support the Sack Summer Hunger program, Thanksgiving Food program, and Holiday program.

Senior Services

Help seniors age in place by providing rides, delivering meals, or installing safety equipment in seniors’ homes.

Administrative Projects

Help with mailings, database entry, and other clerical duties in our offices.

Volunteer FAQs

You must be at least 13 years old to volunteer at Metrocrest Services. Volunteers between 13 and 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Yes, evening and weekend volunteer opportunities are available at the Resale store. Some evening and weekend shifts are also available during Seasonal Programs.

Yes, Metrocrest Services accepts CSR volunteers. Complete an Individual Volunteer Application to begin your service. Please note: We cannot accommodate the following offenses: theft, assaults/physical violence, and sexually related offenses. Learn More.
