Standing ready to serve our community
The mission of Metrocrest Services is to provide hope through programs that lead to self-sufficiency and foster independence.
These core values are at the heart of what we do:
- Start with a “YES” Attitude: Working together to find solutions.
- Celebrate Differences: Show others dignity, respect, and inclusion while honoring everyone’s experiences and unique contributions.
- Be Kind: Make a choice to be kind to ALL through empathy and understanding.
- Choose Joy: Joy is an attitude. Pursue it every day.
- Embrace Change: A willingness to be open-minded and collaborate while accepting that change is an integral part of making our organization stronger.
IMPROVED OUTCOMES
Working Families Success model
As part of the The Working Families Success – Communities Foundation of Texas (WFS), Metrocrest Services is committed to providing an evidence-based approach to lift families and seniors out of poverty. Evaluations of the Working Families Success model nationally have shown that people who receive bundled services and one-on-one coaching are three to four times more likely to achieve a significant economic outcome (increased income, decreased debt, purchase of home/car, improved credit score, etc.).
The WFS model is built on a “bundled” set of three core elements: employment services, income support, and financial coaching.
