THE OPPORTUNITY

Access Healthy Food and Hygiene Items

At Metrocrest Services, we believe no one should ever have to choose between putting food on the table and paying their bills. Eligible Food Pantry visitors are invited to make an appointment to shop in our Food Pantry for a variety of items, including milk, bread, meat, produce, canned goods, and hygiene/household supplies. Each household is provided with enough food for 14 days (based on family size and available stock). Items in the pantry generally include:

  • Canned vegetables, fruits, and meat items
  • Dried beans & rice
  • Seasonal fresh produce
  • Breads and pastries
  • Dairy products
  • Toiletries & hygiene items
  • Household cleaning supplies

Because we receive donations from several area stores, the North Texas Food Bank, individual donors, and fresh seasonal produce from area community gardens like Coppell Community Garden, our stock varies from week to week.
