Cold weather ahead

As North Texans prepare for freezing temperatures, please take the proper steps to protect the four Ps: People, Pets, Pipes, and Plants. Additionally, if you are in need of shelter during the freeze, below is a list of warming centers and support services available in our community. For more resources, call 2-1-1.

Please be aware that not every shelter is open every night. Shelters will open if the minimum nighttime temperature is forecasted by NOAA National Weather Services to be 36 degrees with precipitation or below 32 degrees at any point between 4 PM and 8 am.
