At Metrocrest Services, community support is more than just a concept; it’s a way of life. On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, we had the honor of hosting a Housewarming Party and Joint Chamber Ribbon Cutting event that exemplified the spirit of unity, compassion, and the power of coming together. This special day brought together not only our valued community members but also the Coppell, Farmers Branch, and Metrocrest Chambers of Commerce to celebrate Metrocrest Services’ new home—further strengthening the bonds that make our community thrive.

The Housewarming Party was a heartwarming event aimed at stocking our pantry shelves and ensuring that Metrocrest Services can continue to provide for those in need. It was truly a day of giving back to our community in a meaningful way.

Our guests, both old and new friends, arrived with non-perishable food items, toiletries, and other essentials to fill our pantry shelves. The generosity of our community was simply overwhelming. These donations will enable us to serve even more individuals, families, and seniors in need, helping to fight hunger in our community.

During the event, guests had the opportunity to take tours of our facility, offering them a close-up look at how the new facility will help neighbors in need on their path to financial stability. These tours showcased the essential role that Metrocrest Services plays in providing support to our community members in their times of need and highlighted the opportunity to bring community partners into the space to offer complementary services to help end generational poverty.

The highlight of the celebration was the Joint Chamber Ribbon Cutting. This event united the Chambers of Commerce from Coppell, Farmers Branch, and Metrocrest in a symbolic gesture of unity and collaboration.
