Metrocrest Resale is your one-stop shop for donating gently used items. All proceeds support Metrocrest Services’ efforts to provide hope and relief to those who need a helping hand.
Every dollar provides six meals to a neighbor in need.

Donations Accepted
Monday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Drop-off Location
Drop your donations off at the back of the Metrocrest Resale store (inside Bent Tree Plaza). Just look for the red awning.
Request a Pickup
Metrocrest Resale will pick up oversized items (like furniture) that are in sellable condition.

What can I donate?
Thank you for choosing to donate your new or gently used items to Metrocrest Resale. By taking a few moments to review our list of unaccepted items, you are doing your part to help us fulfill our mission and improve efficiency of the store.
We appreciate your donations as well as your cooperation in following our donation policies and procedures. If you have a question regarding your donation, please contact the store at 972.250.1900.
Items we are unable to accept:
- Basketball goals
- Blinds
- Copy machines
- Cribs, baby gates
- Homebuilding materials
(bricks, cabinetry, carpet, toilets/sinks/bathtubs) - Entertainment cabinets
- Mattresses/box springs
- Office furniture
- Gas grills
- Paints/chemicals/toxic items
- Pianos/organs
- Recalled items
- Soiled or damaged furniture
- TVs more than five years old
- Underwear or socks (unless new)
- Unframed mirrors
- Water heaters
DONATION POLICIES
Pickup policy
Based on the high volume of donations received and the limited number of trucks available to respond to pickup requests, we cannot schedule same-day pickups.
Pickup appointments are typically scheduled within 7–14 days. Due to safety concerns, all items must be on the ground floor. Please note that we can only pick up items in sellable condition. All Metrocrest Resale staff members are empowered to determine which items are suitable for sale.

Volunteers are needed Monday – Saturday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to stock merchandise, process donations, and help customers in the store.
