Join Metrocrest Services for a very special event dedicated to supporting the caregivers in our community who help ensure seniors can age in place.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

Regular Grief vs Anticipatory Grief: What is the difference?
Dr. Patricia Perryman, President and Dean of Nursing at Chamberlain University, will help you explore the signs and stages of anticipatory grief. Additionally, attendees will receive tips and tricks on how to cope with anticipatory grief.

Community Resources to support you and your loved one.
Connect with resources that provide senior-focused services, including nutrition education, housing and in-home care options, social support, and medical screenings.

Dr. Pat Perryman, President and Dean of Nursing at Chamberlain University

Dr. Perryman has 40 years of nursing experience, working in various positions, including trauma, ICU, education, and nursing administration. A certified nurse educator, board-certified patient advocate, certified grief educator, and mental health first aid provider, she offers a wealth of knowledge to caregivers taking care of their aging loved ones. She enjoys sharing her knowledge through volunteerism-providing community education on advance directives and end-of-life decisions in a variety of avenues.
