For 20 years, single-mom Crystal has worked hard to give her two boys the best life possible, but it hasn’t been an easy road. Her oldest son was diagnosed with a rare kidney disorder at two years old. As a teenager, he had both kidneys removed and has been on dialysis ever since. Crystal managed to take care of her two sons while working until she had to go on medical leave due to a broken hip she sustained in a car accident.

Worried about how she would pay her rent, Crystal reached out to Metrocrest Services and was connected to her Case Manager Coach, Jay. “He’s provided so much support to me and my family,” shared Crystal. “He regularly calls just to check up on me and has helped me find support services I didn’t even know I needed.”

As Crystal’s oldest son’s health continues to deteriorate, she remains grateful for the support Metrocrest Services has provided her family. “I don’t know where I would be without you all. What your organization does is take the stress off single mothers so we can take care of our families,” Crystal explained as she expressed her gratitude to Jay and the entire Metrocrest Services team.
