Retirement is something we all look forward to. Enjoying relaxing time with your family and friends and celebrating your life accomplishments. This is what 66-year-old Lauren expected when retiring last spring from teaching until a medical emergency depleted her retirement funds to cover hospital bills and in-home caregiving. Lauren had no additional income to cover her housing and utility expenses.
Looking for a sign of hope, she reached out to Metrocrest Services for help. After meeting with a Case Worker Coach, Lauren was approved for electric and rent assistance and referred to our Senior Services and Employment Coaching departments for additional support.
Your help gave Lauren the resources she needed to continue her pathway to self-sufficiency and independence.
