For years, Sharonica and her husband both worked to support their family of seven. So, when COVID-19 hit and Sharonica lost her job as a customer service representative, the family was at a loss on how they would pay the bills and put food on their table.
The financial strain put on the family by the lost income and all five kids doing virtual learning had Sharonica looking for some relief. That’s when she came across the Metrocrest Services website. “I went to give it a try, and they started to help me from the first phone call,” said Sharonica.
“I love the food I get from the food pantry. With the fresh fruit and produce, I can make all sorts of healthy meals for my family. If Metrocrest Services wasn’t available, I don’t know what I would have done to keep food on the table for my family.”
