Metrocrest Services has announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors: Jay Henry and Victor Johnson. They join the full slate of officers and board members for 2025.

“As we empower our clients to achieve self-sufficiency, we have fantastic leadership from a board committed to ensuring the success of our organization,” said Tracy Eubanks, CEO of Metrocrest Services. “We are grateful that these board members are contributing their time and expertise to our non-profit organization as we serve a fast-growing need in North Texas.”

Jay Henry, market president of North Dallas Bank and Trust, has been named to the 2025 Metrocrest Services Board of Directors.  Henry has worked in the banking industry since 1983 and has been involved with Metrocrest Services in various capacities since 1996.

“I am drawn to the mission and people of Metrocrest Services, who show compassion, kindness, and mercy towards those who are in need,” Henry said.

Henry is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he serves on the advisory board for the university’s Commercial Banking Program. A resident of Carrollton, he and his wife, Jody, have two daughters, four grandchildren, and are active members of First Baptist Church at The Fields.

Victor Johnson, an award-winning speaker, youth advocate, business coach, real estate entrepreneur, and published author, has been named to the 2025 Metrocrest Services Board of Directors. Johnson is the community outreach coordinator on the mortgage team for Prosperity Bank, where he develops strategies to create more homeownerships in black communities of Texas and Oklahoma. He is also the founder of Be the Victor Consulting, where he mentors youth through leadership programs.

Prior to joining the Metrocrest Services Board of Directors, Johnson facilitated financial literacy workshops for clients and spoke at the 19th Annual Keyholder Breakfast, a signature fundraiser for the agency. A resident of Carrollton, Johnson serves as a commissioner on the Neighborhood Advisory Committee for the City of Carrollton. He and his wife, Latasha, have four children and two grandchildren.

“It takes the community as a whole to support those that are less fortunate than others,” Johnson said. “In any moment, each of us could find ourselves (or a loved one) in need. I am grateful to have been selected to join this board and bring my unique gifts and talents to the team.”
