Administrative projects
Administrative volunteers work with Metrocrest Services’ support staff to keep the operations of the organization running smoothly. Volunteers help with mailings, database entry, and other clerical duties in our offices. A background check may be required before beginning your service.

Seasonal Programs: Sack Summer Hunger
Help keep students fed during the summer break. Volunteers sort, pack, and distribute nutritious, easy-to-prepare food and produce bags to students in our community. Volunteers must be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 15 pounds or more.
Shifts open in May
Senior Services: Home-delivered meals
Provide hot meals and wellness checks to homebound seniors. Volunteers pick up meals from the Metrocrest Services office and deliver them to clients’ homes using a predesignated route. Volunteers must pass a background check and have a safe, reliable vehicle to use during each shift.

Homeless Outreach
Homeless outreach volunteers work with the Director of Homeless Resources to meet people where they are, connect, and develop relationships. In addition, volunteers provide information and referrals (emphasizing safety and harm reduction), support access to services by facilitating a warm hand-off beyond provided services and obtain information for documentation. Volunteers must pass a background check and commit to completing all necessary classroom and field training.
