No Child Hungry Make a Diffrence when you Donate to Sack Summer Hunger

The Cause

Metrocrest Services’ Sack Summer Hunger program provides healthy, easy-to-prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks for children who qualify for free or reduced meals. The 2024 program will serve 800 local children with nutritious meals every Saturday from June 1 to July 27, 2024. Your support plays a vital role in fighting summer hunger!

Donate

Metrocrest Services is able to purchase food in bulk at a reduced rate. Skip the line and give a gift to Metrocrest Services to support the Sack Summer Hunger program and the Food Pantry. Every $12.22 donation provides a child with food for a week.

Virtual Drive

Give from the comfort of your home! Set up a virtual drive and help purchase food for children in our community. Inviting your friends and family to join.

  • $110 provides 1 child with food for 9 weeks
  • $220 provides 2 children with food for 9 weeks

We’ve preset some information for you but you’re welcome to customize your drive as much as you want!

Host a Donation Drive

Host and donation drive and collect easy-to-prepare nonperishable food. We are currently in urgent need of:

  • Cereal
  • Peanut Butter
  • Granola Bars
  • Macaroni & Cheese

Donations will be accepted:
Monday- Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Please DO NOT leave donations outside of these designated hours.

Drop-Off Instructions:
You can drop off items at the Aaron & Jen Augustine Donation Drop-Off door (located to the right of the Pantry entrance).

Please do not leave donations unattended.
