When school doors close for the summer, so does access to a vital resource for many children: free or reduced-price school meals. Metrocrest Services’ annual Sack Summer Hunger Program steps in to bridge this critical gap, ensuring that local students receive the nourishment they need to thrive, even when school is out.

This year, the Sack Summer Hunger program will serve 1,000 children with easy-to-prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Food will be delivered directly to their door every Saturday by a dedicated group of volunteers. This year, with your help, we anticipate providing 90,000 meals through the program.
