After nearly 13 years leading the agency, Metrocrest Services CEO Tracy Eubanks announces plans to retire in 2026. Will support the agency during leadership transition.

Metrocrest Services Chief Executive Officer Tracy Eubanks has announced plans to retire in 2026 after nearly 13 years leading the agency.

During his tenure, Eubanks oversaw the merger with Senior Adult Services, a rebrand to Metrocrest Services, the agency’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and a successful capital campaign that led to the relocation of the agency’s headquarters to a new facility in the heart of community need.

“This has been the best, hardest and most rewarding job of my career,” Eubanks said. “With our new building fully operational, our programs expanding and the agency debt-free, it’s the right time to pass the baton and make room for the next leader to take Metrocrest Services to even greater heights.”

In fiscal year 2025, Metrocrest Services served more than 29,000 North Texans. With demand continuing to grow, the agency remains focused on helping individuals transition from financial crisis to stability through innovative programs and strong community partnerships.

The board of directors has launched a search process to identify the next CEO. A hiring committee will review and interview candidates who align with the agency’s mission and culture.

“The board is excited for Tracy as he begins this next chapter and is committed to finding a successor who will lead Metrocrest Services into the future,” said Lauren Turner, board chair. “Tracy’s leadership has positioned the agency for long-term success, and we’re grateful for his support during the transition.”

Eubanks plans to spend more time with his wife and family and pursue new adventures, while continuing to support the agency during the leadership transition.

“Metrocrest Services has always been about helping neighbors through tough times and giving them the opportunity to thrive,” Eubanks said. “I’m proud to be part of that legacy and excited to see what’s next for the agency.”
