The annual Metrocrest Community Job Fair brings together local businesses, job seekers, and community members with a shared goal of fostering economic growth and opportunities. The 2023 Metrocrest Community Job Fair, held on Wednesday, May 10, at the Carrollton Public Library at Josey Ranch Lake, provided a platform for job seekers of all backgrounds and skill levels to connect with a diverse range of employers. With 17 participating companies from various industries, there was a wide array of job opportunities available, catering to different interests and career paths. From entry-level positions to advanced roles, attendees had the chance to explore job openings that matched their skills and aspirations.

“The event not only offered job seekers the opportunity to visit with employers,” shares Nedrena P. Reese, Workforce Manager at Metrocrestest Services. “It facilitated meaningful conversations, enabling the 200+ participants to expand their professional network and learn about potential job openings that might not have been advertised elsewhere. This networking aspect of the event helped foster a sense of community and collaboration among attendees.”
