The Cause
Metrocrest Services’ Sack Summer Hunger program, presented by Atmos Energy, provides healthy, easy-to-prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks for children who qualify for free or reduced meals. The 2025 program will serve 800+ local children with nutritious meals every Saturday from May 31 to July 26, 2025. Your support plays a vital role in fighting summer hunger!
Get Involved
We have a variety of ways for you to get involved in sacking summer hunger. Review the list below and select the option that works for you!
Virtual Drive
Give from the comfort of your home! Set up a virtual drive and help purchase food for children in our community. Inviting your friends and family to join.
- $110 provides 1 child with food for 9 weeks
- $220 provides 2 children with food for 9 weeks
We’ve preset some information for you but you’re welcome to customize your drive as much as you want!
Host a Donation Drive
Host a donation drive and collect easy-to-prepare nonperishable food. We are currently in need of:
- Cereal
- Granola Bars
- Instant Oatmeal Packets
Give Groceries
Prefer to donate items directly to support the Sack Summer Hunger Program? You can drop off your donation at Metrocrest Services, or shop from the comfort of your own home using our Amazon Wish List. Items ordered through the Amazon Wish List will be delivered directly to Metrocrest Services.

Donations will be accepted:
Monday- Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Please DO NOT leave donations outside of these designated hours.
Drop-Off Instructions:
You can drop off items at the Aaron & Jen Augustine Donation Drop-Off door (located to the right of the Pantry entrance).
Please do not leave donations unattended.
