Metrocrest Services’ Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Gabrielle “Gabe” Madison as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer. Madison brings more than 20 years of experience in the corporate and nonprofit sectors, including her recent role as President and CEO of Bonton Farms, a nationally recognized nonprofit that encompasses several social enterprises in South Dallas focused on community transformation.
Prior to her work at Bonton Farms, Madison served as Director of Community Relations at Thomson Reuters, where she began her journey of partnering with nonprofit organizations, including Metrocrest Services.
“Stepping into this role truly feels like coming back home,” Madison said. “My journey working closely with nonprofits began years ago at Thomson Reuters, and Metrocrest Services was the very first organization I partnered with.”
Madison’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for the agency, as demand for services continues to rise. In fiscal year 2025, Metrocrest Services’ food pantry served more than 29,000 North Texans facing food insecurity, a 14% increase over the previous year. Madison’s experience in scaling Bonton Farms to serve a broader South Dallas population positions her well to lead Metrocrest Services through this critical period, as the organization prepares to meet growing community needs amid reduced federal support for safety net programs, like SNAP and Medicaid.
Madison was selected following an extensive search led by Metrocrest Services Board Chair Lauren Turner.
“When I first met with Gabe, I immediately saw her passion for serving others and her commitment to community,” Turner said. “Her professional experience and vision for how we can continue to build a thriving community for all will lead the agency through its next chapter, serving our neighbors in need through economic challenges and community transitions.”
Madison becomes the sixth CEO in Metrocrest Services’ 55-year history. Tracy Eubanks, CEO emeritus, praised the appointment.
“Metrocrest Services has a legacy of strong leaders that adapt to meet the community’s evolving needs,” Eubanks said. “I have no doubt Gabe will continue that legacy with heart and vision. I have known Gabe for over 10 years and have always been one of her biggest fans.”
Eubanks, who has led the agency for 13 years, announced earlier this year that he will retire in 2026. He and Madison will work together over the next few months to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
“This community has always inspired me with how deeply it supports and uplifts one another,” Madison said. “It’s an incredible honor to continue the legacy of the great leaders who have shaped both this organization and the cities we serve.”
